Professor
Yemi Osinbajo Vice Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is 57 years old. He became a lawyer
in1979 and was made a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2002. He is also a
university lecturer and is a consultant with the Uniter Nations.

Professor
Osinbajo is a Christian and a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Professor
Yemi Osinbajo has worked with Government before, both at State and Federal
levels? He was Special Assistant to Judge Bola Ajibola S.A.N when Ajibola was Federal
Attorney General and Minister of Justice in the President Ibrahim Babangida
regime and Osinbajo also served from 1999 – 2007 as Honourable Attorney General
and Commissioner of Justice Lagos State.

As
Attorney General Lagos State, Prof. Osinbajo influenced the Government to
improve the judicial and legal systems greatly, leading to huge human and
infrastructural development in the Lagos state Judiciary.

Professor
Osinbajo also influenced the Lagos State government to set up the famous Office of the Public Defender (OPD) and the Citizens Mediation Centre (CMC)
which led to the promotion of human rights, likewise children and women’s
rights in the State

Professor
Osinbajo is not only a very brilliant lawyer who became a professor of law at
the age of 33 years in 1990 but he is also a very decent, hardworking and
honest person who never stole public funds or abuse public offices entrusted to
him.

Professor
Osinbajo being a humble, serious minded, hardworking and extremely
knowledgeable person, if elected into office of Vice President will help the Buhari Government to achieve the
following:-
(a)
formulation
and execution of good policies that will make Nigeria work again, and sharply reduce
unemployment, hunger, poverty, lack of accommodation, while our transportation,
power and water systems will improve dramatically.
(b)
successful
fight against corruption as both leaders are honest men who just want to serve
the Nigerian people.
(c)
defeat
terrorism and all other criminal activities which are making life unbearable
for the Nigerian people.
(d)
the
strengthening of the judiciary and the promotion of the Rule of Law and
Democracy.
